Fiona Lauer
Certified Advanced Rolfer®

I am a Certified Advanced Rolfer, a graduate of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute, and have had a Rolfing practice in Aspen, Colorado since 2013.

I was first introduced to the work of Dr. Ida Rolf while attending massage school. Right away I could see the potential in this work and needed to learn more. Initially my curiosity was driven by my own chronic neck pain, a result of postural issues, exacerbated by a car accident in my early twenties.

My hope in receiving the 10 series was to alleviate the neck pain. I not only experienced the relief I was looking for, but also much greater insight into my body, how intricately all the parts are related, and how the connective tissue is so profoundly affected by stress.

I am originally from New Zealand so inherently like all that is green and outdoors. I have a background in ski racing, and went on to teach skiing both here and in New Zealand for many years. I also trained and worked as a Registered Nurse prior to moving in to the body work world.

I have watched my three children develop into amazing athletes.  I feel very thankful to have the tools to help them through rapid growth periods, sports related aches/pains, and minimizing their risk of chonic wear on their young bodies.
